On our first day back in school - Wednesday 6th September 2023 - we received an unscheduled visit from the Environmental Health Officer from Cumberland Council. Further to this food hygiene inspection our school kitchen has been issued with a hygiene rating of 5. We are absolutely delighted! Well done Mrs Kerr - and thank you! This rating is totally reflective of the delicious meals that are served every day in school.
More brilliant behaviour on the Golden Table!

Four different children were chosen to sit on our fabulous golden table this week because of their brilliant behaviour in the dining hall, their excellent attitude to trying new things and for their friendship and help to the younger children in school. Well done to Bobby-Joe, Phoenix, Alfie and Chloe! They enjoyed having their lunch first, eating from gold plates with their sparkling gold cutlery and choosing a special prize from Mrs Bowe's treasure box!
The Golden Table!

Four children were chosen to sit on our fabulous golden table on Friday because of their brilliant behaviour in the dining hall and their excellent attitude to trying new things. Well done to Holly, Autumn, Isabella and Mia! They enjoyed having their lunch first, extra special cakes and eating from gold plates with their sparkling gold cutlery!

We are so proud of our amazing children and our community in their support of 'Hospice At Home', in memory of Mrs Alice Oglanby, a friend to our school. On Friday 15th September, thanks to the generous donations of cakes that had been baked by children, staff, parents, grandparents and friends of the school, we were able to hold a cake sale to remember! We raised £280!! And that is not including the collection tins from the sale of the sunflowers - these feel very heavy too! Thank you so much to everyone - your kindness is immeasurable!

Visiting Our Church
3 July 2023
Today our whole school, visited our church - St John the Evangelist's Church in Crosscanonby. We were greeted by Reverend Day and the ladies who help her run the church. Mrs Whitehead played the beautiful organ as we entered and we sang a hymn, accompanied by her magnificent music. We explored both inside and outside of the church. Everyone is welcome into school to view our display of all that we discovered about our beautiful church

Some our children in Year 6 have thrived whilst working Marion - our very own 'in-house' artist. Their watercolour paintings are fantastic! Well done Connie, Evie and Lee!
