Good afternoon,

This half term is flying by! School life continues to be busy with lots of learning taking place in all classes.

Thank you to everyone who came to Mrs Mogford and Miss Fyfe’s Phonics Meeting on Tuesday morning. It was lovely to see the children interacting with their families and showing them what they have been learning in their lessons, as well as playing fun games.

Today our children in Year 6 have had a fantastic day at Netherhall School, experiencing a day in the life at secondary school.

Next week we are learning about ‘Black History Month’ with a special online assembly. The theme this year is ‘Reclaiming Narratives’ – this is a fantastic opportunity for us to highlight to the children the untold stories and histories of Black people in the UK.

Here is a reminder of key information for next week:

* Monday - Y3/4 - PE kit for tennis

* Monday - Crosscanonby Baby and Toddler Group in the school hall - 1:30pm-3:00pm

* Monday – Governors’ Meeting – 5pm

*Tuesday – ‘Black History Month’ Assembly for children in school

* Tuesday - Dance/Ballet After-School Club

*Wednesday - Whole school - PE with Andy (PE kit needed)

*Wednesday - Multi-Skills After-School Club

*Thursday - Bingo After-School Club
