It has been an action-packed week filled with achievements and creativity. It has also been lovely to see the sunshine break through this week—there is nothing quite like a bit of spring warmth to boost everyone’s mood and energy levels. It’s been wonderful to see the children enjoying the brighter days and the positive impact it has had on our school community!

A massive well done to our football team for their fantastic effort at Netherhall School on Wednesday. Not only did they play brilliantly to become the winners of the Championship division, but their sportsmanship throughout the tournament was exemplary. We are very proud of you!

It was fantastic to see the whole school working together to celebrate our love of reading. The enthusiasm was contagious!

The children produced some beautiful artwork inspired by ‘The Snail and the Whale’. If you haven't seen it yet, head over to our Dojo Stories to watch the film from the day—it is absolutely marvellous.

We are delighted to welcome Miss Holmes, a trainee teacher from the University of Cumbria, to our EYFS team. She will be joining us for her Extending Placement, and we look forward to supporting her journey.

On Friday, Key Stage 2 will be participating in a special STEAM session focused on 'Dream Jobs.' It’s a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore their potential and dream big about the many possibilities the future holds for them.

Next Friday is a non-uniform day! To enjoy the comfort of casual clothes, we are asking everyone to bring in a chocolate donation. These will be used as prizes for our upcoming Easter Chocolate Bingo on Thursday 19th March. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

We are hosting our Easter Assembly on Thursday 26th March at 9:00 am, and everyone is most welcome to attend and join us in our celebrations.
