As we reached the end of another busy week, our rooms were filled with a sense of accomplishment by the children and the excitement of a well-deserved break!

In our final assembly of the half term, we considered the joy of Valentine’s Day through the lens of our school’s Christian vision. Rather than just cards and sweets, we focused on sharing with those who are most important to us, that we love them and are thankful for them in our lives.

As a school community, we are embarking on an exciting journey to explore spirituality. We are beginning to look at what this truly means for us—not just as a concept, but as a lived experience. We are grounding this exploration in the theme:
"One heart, one world, one connection"
For us, spirituality is about:
 One Heart: Looking inward to understand our own feelings, beliefs, and unique spirit.
 One World: Noticing the awe and wonder in the beauty of the creation around us.
 One Connection: Growing in our relationships with others and our connection to God.
We look forward to sharing more of this journey with you as we grow together.

A massive "well done" to Class 2! They represented us brilliantly at the recent dodgeball tournament. While their agility was impressive, it was their sportsmanship and teamwork that truly shone. They cheered for one another and treated their opponents with respect—true ambassadors for our school values!

Our Golden Rules are the foundations of our school, and this week has seen some fantastic examples of them in action. From helping a friend in the playground to showing deep focus in the classroom, the children have made us all incredibly proud.

School is now closed for one week. We hope you have a restful, safe, and happy half-term break.

We look forward to seeing all the children back, refreshed and ready to learn on Monday 23rd February.
