Happy New Year to everyone! It has been wonderful to see the children return to school this week with bright smiles and lots of energy. I hope you all had a peaceful break.

We are especially excited to welcome two new children to our Nursery. They have had a fantastic first week, and it has been lovely to watch our children helping them to settle in.

Our Christian Value for this half term is Friendship. Over the coming weeks, the children will be exploring:

  • What it truly means to be a "good friend."
  • The importance of kindness, trust, and inclusion.
  • How we can support one another during challenges.

Alongside this, we will also be exploring the concept of Spirituality. We want to help the children understand what spirituality means to them—fostering a sense of awe, wonder, and reflection about the world around them.

Each class has an exciting term ahead filled with new topics and discoveries. Please visit the school website to view the learning overviews for your child’s class. This half-term the children will be studying History and Art and Design, followed by Geography and D&T after the half-term break.

Class 1 will be having an extra PE session on Thursday mornings until half term. This is with Kate from Wright’s Sports Services. Please ensure they have their PE kit on this day.
