The beautiful sunshine and clear, crisp air have lifted everyone's spirits here at school—both pupils and staff alike. We hope you've been able to enjoy this beautiful stretch of weather as well.

As we head into autumn, we are encouraging the children to notice the changes that will be happening all around us: the crunch of leaves underfoot and the fabulous colours that autumn brings.

We will be incorporating these autumnal themes into our learning, whether it's through nature walks to collect leaves in the school grounds, or reading stories that celebrate the harvest and the changing year. This time of year reminds us to appreciate the simple beauty of nature and the sense of excitement that comes with new routines and cosy afternoons.

It is a time of transition, but a welcome one, and we are grateful for the happy atmosphere it has brought to the school this week.

We warmly invite you to attend an informative workshop focused on how we teach phonics and early reading on Tuesday 30th September at 9:00am. This session is particularly beneficial for parents of children in Nursery and Reception – we will be holding a separate session on Tuesday 7th October for parents of children in Years 1 and 2, however, all parents interested in supporting their child's literacy journey are welcome.
