Welcome back!
3 September 2025
We are looking forward to welcoming back all of our families! We hope you had a restful summer break and are feeling ready for an exciting new school year. The staff and I are very excited to see the children back in school on Wednesday, full of energy and ready to learn.
This year, our school-wide focus is 'Excellence for All'. This means we are committed to helping every child grow and achieve their full potential. We will be striving for excellence in our teaching and learning, in our behaviour, and in the way we care for one another. We're looking forward to a year of growth and impact, and we can’t wait to see what your children will achieve.
Our Christian vision is to help every child live a full and meaningful life. It is to teach them to do good, to love one another, and to grow spiritually. This helps them become well-rounded individuals who make a positive impact in their community and in their learning. This vision underpins everything we do, from our curriculum to our relationships. It is our goal to help every child grow academically, socially, and spiritually, so they become confident and compassionate members of our community.
Our Christian value for this half term is ‘Thankfulness’. We will be exploring what it means to be thankful for the people and things around us and celebrating the blessings in our lives. We encourage you to talk to your children about this value at home.
Please find below a reminder of the staffing structure for this academic year:
- Caterpillar Class - EYFS: Mrs Mogford with Mrs Moore and Miss Turnbull
- Butterfly Class – YEARS 1/2: Miss Moore with Miss Libby and Miss Summerfield
- Dragonfly Class – YEARS 3/4: Miss Martin with Mrs Gibson, Miss Baxter and Miss Fisher

We would like to invite you to an informal meeting with your child's new teacher on Thursday 11th September at 2:30 pm.
This will be a relaxed and informal opportunity to pop into the classroom and say a quick hello. Your child will be on hand to show you around and share some of the great work they've been doing so far. We look forward to seeing you there.
To ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all, we will be reinforcing our Golden Rules:
Kind Hands and Feet: We use our hands and feet to help others, not to hurt.
· Kind Words: We speak to everyone with respect and use positive language.
· Respect Property: We look after our own things, school equipment, and the belongings of others.
· Do as You Are Asked: We listen carefully to adults and follow instructions the first time.
· Always Try Your Best: We work hard and are proud of our efforts.
Additionally, please note the following:
