No Smoking Day

On Wednesday 13th March, Elaine and Jenny from the Health, Care and Community Services department  at Cumbria County Council came into school to talk to all the children about the dangers of smoking. This followed on from our recent litter pick in the village, where our children were horrified at just how many cigarette ends they collected. It was a very informative morning, that was enjoyed by all. It was a pleasure to receive this email from the ladies, highly praising the children in our school:

"Dear Mrs Bowe,

Jenny and I would like to thank you so much for letting us come into your school this morning. The children were so enthusiastic and engaging, it was wonderful to see.

Thanks again."
