Year 5 visited the University of Cumbria on Friday last week. Whilst there we had a brilliant tour of the facilities and listened to talks about what University is for, how it is different to school and what you can do whilst you're there.
It was a day that was designed to help children think about the future.
It also involved a forensic science activity that the children enjoyed. I particularly enjoyed that session as it meant I got to eat lots of Jaffa Cakes!
The children were brilliant all day.
